How mood shopping works on The Brand Master
A practical guide to audience, fabric, color, and budget filters when browsing 150+ Pakistani fashion brands on thebrandmaster.pk.
Why “mood” instead of endless scrolling
Pakistani fashion catalogs are huge: lawn drops, pret lines, festive collections, and year-round basics all mixed together. On The Brand Master, mood shopping is our name for a short set of filters that mirror how many people actually decide what to wear — who it is for, what kind of piece, fabric, colour, and budget — before they open ten brand tabs.
Step 1: Choose your shopping vertical
From the home page, pick a category such as clothing, footwear, or beauty. That sets which catalog you browse. Clothing and footwear also respect shopping audience (women, men, kids, and related options) so you do not see entire ranges that do not apply to you.
Step 2: Open mood filters (signed in)
On the web, the full mood builder lives at /mood after you sign in — same account as the Pehnawa app. Typical steps include:
- Audience — who you are shopping for (where the vertical supports it).
- Category / taxonomy — kurtas, unstitched, bottoms, formal, etc., depending on what brands publish.
- Fabric — lawn, cotton, silk, cambric, and other tags we normalize across brands.
- Colour — useful for apparel, bags, footwear, and home décor verticals.
- Budget — a PKR range so sale browsing stays realistic.
Your mood is saved per vertical. If you switch from clothing to beauty, you will not carry over filters that do not apply.
Step 3: Shop feed applies your mood
The shop feed uses your mood (and optional brand filter) to rank and filter in-stock items. You can still clear mood and explore randomly — useful when a new collection drops and you want discovery, not precision.
Mobile vs web
The Pehnawa Android app uses the same mood model with a guided flow and extras such as wishlists, alerts, and Fit Check try-on for apparel. The website focuses on fast browsing and comparison; the app adds personal preview tools. See Pehnawa on Google Play.
Tips that save time
- Start broad (audience + category), then add fabric or colour — tightening too early can hide good matches.
- Use the brands A–Z page when you already know the label; use mood when you care about the look, not the logo.
- Always confirm price and stock on the brand’s own site — our feed shows what we last saw in catalog sync.
